Heirloom Jewelry with Chinese Symbols

I like to purchase a new piece of jewelry with each major life accomplishment in my life. When I recently had my first child I decided on jewelry with Chinese symbols. I had a ring made with the symbols for ‘life’ and ‘birth’ on it. I love looking down and having a constant reminder of my daughter. I hope when she is older I can pass this down to her as a reminder to how special is to me and how momentous her entry into my life was. It is truly a special piece and I hope that she will cherish it as much as I do.
