I’m part of a group of self-employed professionals who gather a couple of times per month to swap ideas. As time has gone by we’ve all been bitten by the idea of branching out and starting online businesses, so each session we spend some time on that topic as well. And in doing some research I was surprised at what a huge role credit card processing can play in online business. More than 80 percent of everything bought online is paid for using a credit card, which means virtual stores need to accept payments online.
