Today we are not surprised by the internet, but it has certainly changed many things about the way we live our lives. We take it for granted now but it has only been around for a few years. Most of us have access to so much more info than we will ever need, instantly, and without requiring a visit to a large central library as we did in the past. In terms of the internet we all have become more likely to personally get involved in creating the content and information which exists on the web, eg videos and articles by regular people. The web is also the fastest way to research any topic, although some might question the accuracy of the content we may find. Anything can be researched online from politics to investigations into companies and reverse cell lookups to find individuals. As mentioned previously you do need to be cautious about believing all the content on the internt.
